I cannot get pdfs to convert to Word in the App - it just keeps whirring!
So everytime, I have to open Adobe in a browser and do it that way which is not only inconvenient but takes way longer.
Appreciate any help out there.

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
What happens when you try to create the PDF from MS Word, do you get any error message? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same for more clarity.
What is the workflow/steps you are doing? A small video recording of the same would be very helpful
Also, make sure you have the recent version 24.01.20615 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Let us know how it goes.

That appears to have worked, Amal.
I ran the update and the first pdf I tried to convert worked, so fingers crossed.
I had thought that Acrobat would update automatically - is there a setting for this?
Regards
Chris

Check in the preferences. There is indeed a setting for that, but you should select what is best for you. On production machines, I prefer to update manually. That helps avoiding bugs in the update. Well, sometimes you need to update to avoid a bug!

I can't find the setting for automatic updates, but not to bother - I'll periodically check manually.
Thanks for your help
