Problems distilling a PDF in Acrobat 2017

Community Beginner ,

I am having some problems trying to distill my .pdf files into a legal sized (8x14) document.  I have done this thousands of times without any problems, however, when I tried this morning this is what happenned:

I open the PDF file I want to distill and select "Print"

it asks me to save PDF file as ... I enter a new file name

"Progress window" says it finished printing all 41 pages

"Creating Adobe PDF" window remains stuck.

I tried "repairing" my Adobe program with no success.

Any suggested solutions?

Many thanks

Steve 🙂

My "last resort" was a success.

I uninstalled Adobe using the Adobe Acrobat cleanup tool and then re-installed.  I am now able to "print to PDF" once more.  I think I may have corrupted the print function somehow previously.  All good now!

I neglected to mention that I am using Windows Adobe 2017.

I know my last resort is to unistall Adobe and then re-install it again.  I have my serial number so I don't anticipate a problem, however, if there is a solution instead of this... I'm all ears!
