I recently sent a file to a printing company. They say they cannot print the file beacause "something is worong with Acrobat Distiller on my computer". I really don“t know what to do with this problem! Is Distiller part of Acrobat DC? I downloaded Acrobat DC here in the Creative Cloud a couple of weeks ago. When I open my Distiller it says "compatible with Acrobat 7.0.

What can I do?

I think you need to provide us with more details. To say that "there's something wrong with Distiller on your computer" is a cop out. There's no way they can know that. What they're really saying in my opinion is that there's something wrong with the PDF. We need to know what exactly the problem is. Targeting Distiller will take you down a rabbit hole and is most definitely the wrong approach. From what application are you creating the PDF file? What is the source application from which the PDF is being created? Using Distiller is a very antiquated approach to PDF creation at this point in time. Give us more details.
