Problems with external JS Editor

I've found an instruction how to change registry, so Acrobat accepts 3rd party editors when Protected Mode is enabled:

Unfortunately the paragraph is rather ambiguous:

  1. It says: "Set the value to the program path." But in the following example it shows the exe-file including full path ...
  2. It says "You cannot use the UI to specify a JS editor." and shows a screenshot with "Use external ..." activated, but no JS editor specified. But you can't configure that way. Either you choose the internal Editor, which is rather poor and fails on big JS-Files, or you HAVE to specify the external editor ...

 

Well - I've tried all kind of variations, but nothing did work …
