Problems with foreign characters in Chrome extension

There is a bug in Adobe Acrobat Chrome Extension: When clicking on a link in a PDF with a foreign character in it, it fails.

Example: https://øds.dk/DLA-web.pdf. Try the image on page 6.

"øds.dk" is transformed to "Ã¸ds.dk" (which is not a valid URL)
it should be "xn--ds-kka.dk" (which is a valid URL)

Without the extension Chrome handles it correctly, and so does other extensions such as Smallpdf.

HI,

I tested it Chrome, I pasted the link:

for a short second, the "xn--ds-kka.dk" url showed in the address bar
quickly reformated to display "øds.dk" url, and opened the file without issues

I used Version 132.0.6834.162 and Version 133.0.6943.54. both worked as expected on Windows 10.

The same for me. The link has to be in a PDF.
