I'm having a problem editing Adobe Files in CC Adobe Acrobat PRO DC.

Backstory, I started scanning file on my windows machine and the files scan great but when I try to edit them they give me this error:

"The procedure entry point

?SetDeskewOptions@CPageRecognition@IDRS@@QAEXBAVCDesk

weOptions@2@@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat

DC\Acrobat\plug_ins\PaperCapture\OCRLibraryInf.dll. "

Then, I click paste the dialog box and I get this now:

"Unable to process the page because paper capture recognition service experiencing an error (100001).

I used to have my files associated automatics with windows but I got a new computer and this time associated files with Adobe and now I have this error.

The files are coming from an HP Scanjet Pro 3500.

Adobe Acrobat DC Version is 21.001.20150.

I've attached the screenshot

Hi All,

My scan drivers are updated. I didn't have the creative cloud app activated and when I did that the file was editable.

Did you upgraded the printing device drivers and printer firmware in the new computer?

Is this happening on a Windows 10 machine?

What happens if you uinstall Acrobat completely and then reinstall it after you've forced a manual update in that new computer?

Hi Carlisle

++ Adding to the discussion

Please try to Copy the files from the 'iDRS15' folder to the 'PaperCapture' and 'plug_ins' folders in Acrobat as described in the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-could-access-recognition-service.html and see if that works for you.

Regards

Amal
