Purchased Adobe Acrobat Standard 2017 DC OEM - licence key not working

Hello,

 

I purchased the Adobe Acrobat Standard 2017 DC OEM product at blitzhandel24.de

Upon completing the purchase, I obtained an invoice and a licence key as well.

However, the link suggested in the licence key information sheet did not actually work, the webpage responsing "your product is not available for download" and I was referred to FDRedSupport@arvato-scs.com from where I got the link https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/acrobat-2017-downloads.html to use for a repeated download. This time, I completed the download successfully. 

 

However, when installing the software and asked for the licence key obtained, the one I got was not accepted, saying "this is not a valid licence key".

 

I checked the accuracy of the licence key several times and got convinced that I did enter it accurately.

Am I a victim of a fraud? What can I do to have a working combination of the product in question and the proper linence key?

Hello,

In the meantime this issue has been resolved. It turns out that I was mixing up a voucher code with the licence-key, both are 25 digits with the difference that the licence key does NOT  contain letters. You get the licence key upon redeeming the voucher number (which I assumed to be the licence key).
Now, everything is working fine.
On a sidenote, I needed to change the installation language to English because the software came in English. Otherwise it won't install.
The Adobe customer service helped me very much. (via chat.)

There is a good chance that you got scammed. However, only Adobe can tell for sure. I would get in touch with the seller and  see what they will tell you, and at the same time get in touch with Adobe's customer support to see if they can tell you anything about the license key.
