Question about Adobe extraction of files in a pdf, How long should this take?

I'm really pleased with Adobe Acrobat. It's a great product that works fast.

Today, I opened a file to extract the pages. The files had 180 pages but when I tried to extract certain parts of the file. The software locked up on me. I had to abort and start over again with the same result. Then I deleted the file and re-downloaded and still had the same result.

What causes this?

This is the only file I have ever had this problem with so far. I can upload a zipped copy of the file for Adobe to look at but only with response from Adobe employee.

Finally system details:

1. I'm on a Windows 10 machine with 128GB of RAM

2. Adobe DC desktop version is 22.002.20191

Edition Windows 10 Pro
Version 21H2
Installed on ‎9/‎19/‎2021
OS build 19044.1348
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0

Also, this issue happens w/ delete when extraction box checked. This is only box I have checked in this window where there are two options.

This issue I only had with one file. I have not experienced it with others since we last talked. I can upload the file in zip if adobe would still like to look at it.
