How can I create a quick tool for inserting tick marks in my documents in Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017? I need something speedy as I use the tickmarks when reconciling accounts in pdf format. I have a stamp of a checkmark, but that is a little clumsy and slow. I am computer literate, but by no means a techie. Please help.

Does your document already contain comments? (Like sticky note, text annotations, etc).

No it does not. I am working on downloaded statements and ledger pages.

That works on the document much better than the tock mark stamp, but I can't make a quick-tool because Fill & Sign is not on the list that comes up when I try to customize. Maybe that is not possible. Thank you for your help.

What's wrong with the stamp tool? You can add it to the menu bar and then tick the option to keep it selected (right-click the tool under the Comments panel on the right and select "Keep Tool Selected"), which will allow you to use it continuously, until you change to another tool.
