Quite imposing et Acrobat 2025 / MacOS Séquoia 15.4.1

Bonjour.

Hello Muriel!

I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out.

If I understand the issue correctly, since the latest update of the Mac OS and Acrobat, the Quite Imposing V5 no longer recognizes or applies bleed settings. Is that correct?

Please ensure you have the latest version of Acrobat installed on the machine: 25.001.20476 (Mac), Apr 28, 2025. Check for any pending updates from the Menu > help > check for updates, install the updates, restart the app and the machine, and try again.

  • Check Acrobat Plugin Permissions:

    • macOS may have reset some security or accessibility permissions. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Full Disk Access and ensure both Acrobat and Quite Imposing (if listed) have access.

  • Plugin Compatibility:

    • Verify you’re using the latest version of Quite Imposing V5. Even if it says V5, there may be incremental updates specific to Acrobat 2025 or macOS Sequoia compatibility.

  • Check Bleed Settings:

    • Open the PDF in Acrobat and go to All Tools > Print Production > Set Page Boxes. Ensure the Bleed Box is defined properly and not just the Trim Box. See this article for more details: https://adobe.ly/4j5XB2r

  • Test with Another PDF:

    • Try a different file to confirm whether it’s a global issue or document-specific. This helps isolate whether the problem lies with Quite Imposing or the PDF’s metadata.

If the issue still persists, please share a screenshot or quick recording about the issue, the current version of Acrobat installed, the version of the OS, and the version details of the third party application and share it with us for further investigation.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.
