"Convert to PDF" feature for Adobe Acrobat Pro DC issue

New Here ,
Aug 15, 2025 Aug 15, 2025

I am trying to convert files to pdf using the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC feature, after the conversion is completed, when I open the resulted pdf file, I only see a blank document, the content of the original documents does not appear for the converted pdf.

I tried reinstalling and repairing the product but no luck, can someone help me out with this issue. Would be great if you can share any registry or file information which specifically targets this feature?

P.S. I have the Adobe Acrobat Pro DC 25.00.20531 on my Windows 10 device.

Hi @Admired_musician6726

Thanks for reaching out, and sorry for the trouble

Given the version of the app, it seems you have pending updates: https://adobe.ly/45hEyhW

To check for any pending updates, launch Acrobat > Help > Check For Updates.

Also, could you let us know what is the source document you are trying to convert? Can you share the file with us?

Is the issue reproducible with other files of that format?

If the source document is on external drive or cloud drive, try copying locally and check how it works.

Best regards,

Hi Tariq,

Thank you for reaching out!

We tried the conversion with .docx and .xlsx files, we created those files manually on the local drive.

Can you help me understand which particular windows registry or system file which can trgger the functionality of the feature, I can try to verify if the feature is activated correctly on my device?

Thanks for the quick response, @Admired_musician6726

We can try two simple test to rule out app issue or file issue.

1. Create a one page word .docx file with known fonts let's say Arial. Convert to PDF file using Adobe Acrobat options like PDF Maker on Word Ribbon. Or Save word file and then use Acrobat app to convert. Check the result.

2. Also, goto: https://adobe.ly/4fCV6V7 login with your Adobe ID, if you have subscription, you have access to Acrobat Web as well. Try converting the affected files as well as newly created word docx file.

Let us know how it works. Also, if possible please share the source files xlsx and .docx files via private message.

Hi Tariq,

Thank you for your support and response!

I validated the above steps, via Acrobat Web it's working, however, it doesn't work locally.

I would appreciate if you could share any windows registry and file information that would help us in trobleshooting to fix the issue.

Truth be told i am still struggling to find the root cause of the issue.
Let me know if this is possible to connect over MS Teams meeting. So i could check the issue and try to find if there is a registry or sort that could fix this issue for you.
