"CoolType invalid font error 'cannot fetch default design vector' for font unknown" error

I utilize Adobe Acrobat to open forms that were previously created in LiveCycle which are required for signature - I've never experienced problems in the past, however, the form was recently updated and now anytime I download the form to sign I receive the following error message three times which I must click "ok" to be able to view/edit/sign the document. I've searched the error message online and find nothing on how to fix it. I've tried adding the fonts on the form to the creative cloud and no luck. Any ideas?

Hi @ambsdev,
Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble.
Are the files you are trying to access, created in a different language? If yes, installing the font package for the language can help.
If not, you might want to reset the font cache that your system creates. You can try the below steps:
-
Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog. Type services.msc and press Enter
-
Select the service named Windows Presentation Foundation Font Cache 3.0.0.0 and click on the stop button in the toolbar. (If this service is not running, then there is no need to stop the service).
-
Press Windows key + R. Type %WinDir%\ServiceProfiles\LocalService\AppData and press Enter.
-
Click on the Continue button to gain permissions.
-
Double-click on the subfolder named Local. Inside the Local folder, you will find several files with names starting with ~FontCache.'' Select all these files and delete them. Do not delete any folders, even if they are empty.
-
Reboot your computer. When Windows restarts, it will rebuild a new font cache. Now, you should not see any misplaced or strange font issues.
Let me know if this helps.
