Hello,
I am working on a PDF file in Adobe Acrobat and I cannot delete comments where I use the "replace text" function. The option to delete is greyed out. However, I can delete comments where I use other functions such as "highlight" or "strikeout". I am signed in to my Adobe account and I have tried saving and restarting to no avail.
Thanks in advance for the help!
I just tried this operation in my installation, and have no restriction or difficulty deleting a strike-through comment. Perhaps if you can share the file, we can see if it behaves differently on other machines/installations.
Also, try different methods of deleting the comment - either selecting it on the page and hitting delete or from the comments panel. Maybe a repair installation could help if it proves to be the installation on your machine.
My best,
Dave

Hi Dave,
I tried your suggestion—selecting the comment on the page instead, and hitting the delete key on my keyboard. It worked! I'm still unable to delete via right clicking the comment in the comment pane, but I'm okay with that as long as there's one way to do it.
Thanks for the quick response!
