Downloaded a file with auto-generated fields for a form. Received the following error:

Invalid append operation: subform cannot have a child element of value

Installed software:

Adobe Acrobat Pro DC

Tried this on 2 different systems and both came up with the same issue:

(1) Microsoft Surface, Windows 10 Home, using Microsoft Edge

(2) MacOS Big Sur (Version 11.3), using Microsfot Edge for Macs

Not sure the form is compatibile with "newer" versions of Acrobat Reader, or if need to use versions like Acrobat Reader X (10) or earlier.
