Raise without a handler error when zooming

New Here ,
Oct 23, 2025 Oct 23, 2025

I frequently get the error "There was a RAISE without a handler" when I zoom in too much in a PDF. It does not always happen and I don't know how to reproduce it, but it might happen once per week. When it happens, Adobe freezes and I have to restrart it with unsaved changes to any open documents.

Hi @brilliant_help0750,

Sorry for the delayed response. And thanks for reaching out.

Unless this is an unusual scenario, a fix was provided for a similar issue with the September product update. It appears that the update is already installed on your machine. Could you try installing the Nov update: https://adobe.ly/492exp4.

Let us know how it works.

Best regards,

OK, thanks. I stay updated with Creative Cloud automatic updates. So hopefully the problem just goes away. It has not happened in the last few weeks as far as I recall, so perhaps it has already gone away. I will let yoiu know on this thread if it happens again.
