I have a user with the same issue. Ran the troubleshooter and getting the same internal error. Same OS and Adobe version as the one posted. Any other ideas?

Please confirm if the issue occurs with the particular PDF. If yes, share the PDF with us so we can check.

 

In the meantime, please try the steps suggested in the following community thread with a similar issue: https://adobe.ly/3HT1ric. Check if that helps.

 

If the issue still occurs, share the Acrobat version number with us. Share the screenshot of the error that appears. Also, check if this happens when opening other PDFs.
