You replied to a six year old thread about Acrobat Reader and PDF Pack and you do not use either one. The OP could not edit a PDF because PDF Pack does not include editing.

Are you also having trouble trying to edit a PDF? If so, Please tell us:

• your OS and version
• your version of Acrobat Pro
• was the file scanned
• is the file is locked for editing (File > Properties > Security)
• what was used to create the file (File > Properties > Description)
• what typefaces are used and are any Type 1 (File > Properties > Fonts)
• do you get a message when you try to edit the file (if so show a screenshot)
• what happens when you try to edit?
