Hello,

to digital sign a document our docu mgmt system stores the PDF to %TEMP% and opens it in reader. When we save the file the %temp% directory is shwon in the dialog.

When we sign the document and then save it, the save dialog shows no more the %temp% dialog.

This is a big problem because the mgmt systems tries to import the signed file from the original location.

With win7 and older Reader versions it worked.

Greetings

Andreas

I am not sure if it is a good practice to have your document manager to store any file in a temp folder.

The OS may purge temp files at random intervals or on every reboot, for example.

Do you have a way to instruct your document manager to save to a different location other than %TEMP% ?

Hello,

it's a web application that simply downloads the document and opens acrobat for signing.

Greetings
