Reader is freezing when scrolling and is not responding for a short time

Acrobat reader  freezes/lags when scrolling.

first i have to say the file or files that i using are typically not bigger than 4 MB, so this can not be the problem why Acrobat Reader freezing when im scrolling.

i tried to change different settings such as the page display options,  which are recommended when searching for this problem online 

it would be nice if someone could help me

Hi: I suggest checking the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/message-content-preparation-progress-opening.html and see if that works for you. You could also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights in Windows and try using the application there and see if the same thing happens.
