I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I am fixing PDF for 508 compliance (accessibilty). When I try to reorder the containers in the reading order panel the app crashes.
I have done the process many times before with no issues. What should I try? These are time sensitive COVID notices from my employer and I need to have them ready to post quickly.

Hi there
Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, When you try to reorder the containers in the reading order panel the app crashes.
Is this a behavior with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check? If the file is stored on a shared network, drive please download it to your computer locally and check.
Also make sure you have the latest version of the Adobe Acrobat DC installed. Go to Help > Check for Updates and reboot the computer once.
Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described in the help page https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-default/td-p/4792... and see if that works for you.
You may also try to create a new test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account in Mac and try using the application there
Also please check the steps shared in the help page listed below:
