I have noticed that when I open a pdf from inside Adobe or from the Windows File Manager (Explore), the file appears on my Recent Files list. However, when I open a pdf attachment for an Outlook email the file does not appear in Recent Files. Since I frequently open files from email, is there any way to have these files appear in the Recent Files list?

Are these file attachments open with a web browser, or a PDF reader other than Acrobat Pro or Adobe Reader?

- Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC and the Windows OS you are using?
- Also, a small video recording of the same would help us to better understand the issue.
