Recovering signed document

I am trying to retrieve an Adobe document I signed a couple months ago.

It was sent to my work email which I no longer have access to and therefore, cannot view the document or verify the email address it was sent to.

I have never had an Adobe Account but just signed up for one with my home e-mail address.

Is there any way for me to get the signed document from an old and non-accessible email if I never had an account?

Thank you!

If you didn't save the file to your local computer, then no. You should check your Downloads and temp folders. In order to view a PDF file it must first be downloaded to the computer, even if only as a temporary file. It won't appear in your Adobe account if you only opened it now, though.

Hi hannah_6516,

Thank you for reaching out.

If you received the document at your work email address, you might have received a copy of the final document in that email. As you do not have access to the email account, you may check with the document's sender.

As suggested by try67, you may check the download folder or local machine. You might have opened that document or saved it.

Generally, when a document is sent for signature to an email address, a free Acrobat Sign account is created with the same email address. However, as you do not have access to the email account, you might not be able to access the Acrobat Sign account. You may directly check with the sender once.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
