Redact only removes whole pages not marked text

My Acrobat Pro DC redact tool is removing whole pages instead of the marked text. Cause?  Cure?  (The preview of the redaction shows just the text removed.)

I am also having this problem and theres no fix that I can find.  It's been nearlly two years since you posted.  Did you find any solutions?
