redaction tool returning only search results

HI all,

I am an long time but intermittent acrobat pro user. I am trying to use redact tool and i am getting an unsatisfactory response.

The comments on this forum refer to crashing but this is not the case for me.

when I follow the steps to redact 5 instances on a 7 page document I get one page back of search results to show me where I have redacted.

This is not what I want ; I want my 7 page document with redactions gone.

It would be vastly easier to convert to word and search and replace and then print to pdf again. However I have a large volume to do.

I am dissapointed by the amount of issues redaction seems to generate on this forum.

is the product any good or not? 

can anyone help me with this ?

What steps are you following? Basically all you need to do is run the Search & Remove Text command. It should work on the entire file as a whole.
