Redaction

I am having issues with Acrobat Pro DC Version 2022.001.20142 recognizing words for redaction under Redact Text & Images. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

After clicking on Redact Text & Images. The search window pops up. When I enter a word to search within the document, the search returns nothing, eventhough it is a known word within the document.

Seeing a word on the page doesn't mean it's actually there. Can you select it with the mouse? If so, copy it and paste into another application, like Notepad. Does the pasted text look the same as the one in the document?

Yes. When I select a word and click copy with formatting, it appears the same in Notepad.

And if you use Copy without Formatting? Does this text contain any accented characters, or hyphens, quotes, or something like that?

It looks like nothing is there in Notepad, if I just use copy.
