Reduce file size - changes line spacing and characters - e.B. ft

Mir ist aufgefallen, das dieses Programm beim Verringern der Dateigröße nicht unerhebliche Veränderungen im Text und der Form des Dokuments vornimmt. So werden auf einer Seite nur einige Zeilenabstände verringert und überwiegend die Zeichen ft durch Symbole ersetzt. Es kommt auch vor, das andere Zeichen verändert werden.

If yes, please share the steps you do to reduce file size. 

It would be helpful if you could share the screenshots of the changes you find after reducing the field size.
