My work laptop recently updated to Windows 11 and ever since then, my Adobe DC Pro seems to have lost its mind. I pay for the version that provides constant updates, so I don't believe that to be the issue and I have not made any changes to my preferences/settings.
Since the update to Win 11, when I try to do "Save As Other" < Reduced File Size or Optimized PDF, my files are actually larger in size. One page should not be 890 KB when it has no graphics and very limited words. I even did a uninstall/reinstall. No joy.
I constantly get Conversion Warnings but they do not specific what the issue is or how to resolve it. If I was that Adobe savvy, I'd be working for them. I have also noticed that where I used to be able to overwrite a file when reducing the size, I no longer can. It saves it as a temp file and I have to do the process all over again.
I have read stuff in the forums but cannot get a simple answer to help me, I cannot get anyone to speak to me or share my screen, I have watched a ton of videos and none of them are helping me at all. My job has very rigid timelines with the courts and having to deal with these issues is becoming a daily hinderance to my job as I rely heavily on Adobe.
I am almost to the point of trying to find something different to use. I apologize, but I need something in simple terms. I do not have time to try to figure out why I get conversion warnings with no additional information.
Any assistance that anyone can provide would be beyond appreciated. I'd like to keep what hair I have left at this point.

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry to hear you had trouble using Acrobat.
As mentioned, the reduced file size is not working correctly, and you get conversion warnings. Could you please share a screenshot of the warning you received? Also, please confirm if this happens with all the files or the one you currently work with. Sometimes it can be a file-specific issue as well.
Please share the Acrobat version number that is in use. You may use the steps suggested here: https://adobe.ly/3RQpSid.
In the meantime, try repairing the application installation. In Acrobat, go to Menu > Help > Repair Installation. In the meantime, you may try the Acrobat web to convert files.
We will get this checked once we have more information.
Thanks,
Meenakshi
