Refresh/Update PDF binder to reflect changes to source docs after combining multiple files

Hello,

I need to combine multiple small documents into a master document; however, I would like the master document to be easily refreshed to reflect changes to any of the source documents. It appears that to update my master document in Acrobat, I would have to reselect all of my source documents and reorder them to create a new binder every time I want to refresh the master document. Is there any way to maintain the links to source documents and order of the pages so that I can just refresh the combined file?

The source documents I'm referring to are of mixed formats (.doc .ppt .pdf)

No, there's no built-in way of doing that.
