Registry about "welcome screen"

New Here ,
Jul 24, 2023 Jul 24, 2023

(1)Currently, Acrobat Reader DC is installed in multiple environments.
"The welcome screen" is suppressed by the following registry settings.
But, there are environments where "the welcome screen" can be suppressed and environments where it cannot be suppressed.
Are there any other cases where deterrence may not be possible as described above?
Also, what can be the reason why it cannot be deterred?

 iFTEVersion 0x0000000a
 iLastCardShown 0x00000000

(2)If the following registry is added by GPO in the environment where the above suppression is not possible,
it looks like "the welcome screen" has been suppressed.
What is the positioning of this registry item?
Also, is it possible to suppress "the welcome screen" with the settings in this registry?

Hi @3121366784ap,

Hope you are doing well. Thank you for writing in!

From the settings you mentioned above, you refer to the Flash Cards displayed for new features when Acrobat is launched.

If you want to suppress the Welcome Splash Screen, which shows the "Acrobat Loading" logo, you can refer to the lockdown settings here: Application Startup, misc.

Regarding the Flash Cards, refer to the article for more: Lockable Settings.

Hope this helps.
