Hi.
Years ago, I bought Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro for MacOS on DVD. Since then I transferred it successfully to a newer computer (MacBook Air, no disc drive), but have just recently had to reboot the computer from the startup disc. Now I can't reinstall Adobe Acrobat Pro 9, because I have no disc drive. I still have the disc and the box, though, including the serial number sticker on the back.
Is it possible to download the files from somewhere, and reinstall/reauthorise using the product key?
Thanks,
Evan

Downloadable installation files available:
Download and installation help for Adobe links
Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages. They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3. If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

Thanks for the links! I don't see Acrobat Pro 9 for Mac on that list - am I blind, or is it not available?

Hi evanh83445683,
You may download the installer from this link: Download Acrobat 8 and Acrobat 9
Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro in Creative Suite 5 Master Collection?
Please feel free to update the discussion if you need further help.

Is it possible that 9 will no longer work with macOS Sierra? I was able to download it (thank you for the direct link!) but when I try to open it, it gives me "Acrobat" in the menu at the top, but nothing underneath that - no drop-down menu - and I can't open any pdfs with anything other than Preview.
Thanks,
Evan

Also plug-in disk drives are inexpensive, easy to use, and rescue all your old disks from expensive oblivion.
