Hello all,
I have a large PDF file (1000+ pages), which was originally compiled in another pdf app.
once i got it, i saw that in all of the pages there's a sentence (probablly a logo from the combining app) above each page. how can i remove it?
is it even possible in one strike?

Yes, use the Redaction Tool. It has a search and mark for redaction option.
Use the Acrobat JavaScript Reference early and often

I/ve used the simple Find/Replace function too. You have to replace the text with something, but a space works.

Can you upload a sample page? If the item is a watermark or image, you can use a script (MultiPageImporter) to place the pdf into a new InDesign file and add a shape on the master page to cover the unwanted item on all pages, or crop the pages, then export to a new pdf. Another option, if the item is a unique color, is to use an Acrobat preflight fixup to find the color and change it to white (or the existing background color). A third option is to use an Acrobat preflight fixup to crop the PDF, then re-size it, adding white. Note, you need to duplicate an existing preflight from the Options fly out menu before you can edit it.

1000+ pages is quite a lot but did you give it a try to open it in Illustrator ?
From there, you could see if the artefact is accessible as an object.
