Remove signature redaction

New Here ,
Mar 24, 2022 Mar 24, 2022

I need to use a copy of a document that I signed without my signature being redacted.  I did not specify that I want my signature redacted, but Adobe has decided that that should be a default setting.  Please, how do I remove the redaction so I can use my document? And how do I stop that from being a default setting?

What redaction are you referring to, exactly? Can you post a screenshot or share an actual file with this issue?

No, it's not. You have to post it via the browser, not as an email attachment.

What steps did you take that caused this box to appear? What version of Acrobat are you using?

Can you share the actual file, before and after you redacted it?

Try developing some manners.  That is what "professionals" do.

I beg your pardon? What's wrong with what I asked for?

But don't worry, I won't "bother" you again with my lack of manners. Good luck with your problem.

Interesting. This isn't something Adobe do automatically. My guess is that the person who tested the form did this to protect you from identity theft. If you submit the form to them following their instructions, it ought to be fine. Don't print and scan or print at all unless that's what they tell you to do.

DC is removing signatures from motions I've filed and submitted upon compiling for a record appendix during redaction for impounding the documents. I will at this point need to write another motion explaining this failure of adobe's redaction 'feature' which has lost me an incredible amount of time, caused an incredible amount fof stress, and is in effect obstructing justice for anyone using Adobe.
