Hi everyone.
Is there a way to globally remove an object from multiple pages in a PDF? I've tried Preflight Fixups in Acrobat tools and Global Changes in Pitstop Pro but haven't found anything that works.
Here's a description of the document:
Multipage, letter size PDF document with images, text and vector graphics (including some outlined text) on a single layer.
The object I want to delete is a vector object with a white fill, no stroke and consistent dimensions of 8.5"x11". It appears on most, but not all, pages in the document and lies behind all of the other elements on a page.

Thanks for your comments, everyone. I managed to find a solution using the Pitstop Pro plugin.
Under the Action Lists menu, I went into the Standard group and selected the Page folder. In that folder is a default action called "Remove anything completely outside the Media Box". I duplicated and edited this action so that any object that completely covers the trim area (8.5x11) will be deleted. Since the object I want to delete is the only one that ever completely fills the page, it works just fine.
There are probably other ways to solve the problem as well, maybe even within Acrobat's Preflight Fixups. This works well for me though.

It would be awesome if Adobe Acrobat could provide the user with the ability to use a tool to array different objects in a PDF document with layers, templates, and clipping maks; just like in Adobe Fresco where the concept of layering graphics and different elements makes it very useful , and easy, to select, add, array, or edit elements in a digital drawing.

Automating this requires a custom plug-in
Acrobat really isn't setup to do this sort of thing. You should be changing the original file, then reconverting to PDF.
Use the Acrobat JavaScript Reference early and often
