I was trying to clear/remove this saved e-signature but I can't. Can someone help me please? Thanks

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble.
The signature should be removed once you click on the "X" icon. We checked, and the feature works fine on our end.
Please try relaunching Acrobat and then try. If that does not help, try repairing the application installation. In Acrobat, go to Menu > Help > Repair Installation.
You may also remove the signature from the following location: %appdata%\Adobe\Acrobat\DC\Security\
Search for the file named "acrobat_fss_signature_initials" and delete it. That should remove the signature.

I'm having the same issue as well. I manage a panel of 300 independent contractors who we require to use Adobe to sign forms and many of them have reported the same issue to me as well.
I was able to work out different ways to clear a signature, but I want to flag that there is an issue here much larger than one user. There does seem to be a bug causing the "X" icon to occasionally not work properly.

@catrina_2782 that's odd because the 'X' would do... In my Acrobat...
I had navigated to the "Fill & Sign" tool, which you can usually find in the right-hand pane or under the "Tools" menu. Once selected, you should see your saved signature. Look for a small minus (-) sign or an "X" icon next to the signature.
Click on this icon to remove the saved signature. If you wish to add a new signature, you can then select the "Add Signature" option and follow the prompts to create and save your new e-signature.

the "x" is grayed out so I can't click it. is there any other way to remove it?
