Why is it that a 3rd party online web site can repair my pdf when Adobe can't?
The first search I tried worked perfectly. It was https://www.ilovepdf.com/repair-pdf
Adobe you need to improve your Acrobat Pro DC app!!! We should not need to resort to 3rt parties!!!
