Replace older Version after continuing marking and commenting

Hi,

when i mark and comment a .pdf, adobe acrobat forces me to save as a new document. Any way in forcing adobe to just update new marks and comments by just hitting "save"? Whenever i disrupt marking and commenting i always have to save the document as a new .pdf and i am getting tired of this.
