Request E-Signature not working when "sent to" IOS device

I created a fillable and signature requested document (basically an invoice) for my customers. I have been testing it but only IOS devices are giveing me fits. I do not have an Android to test so no worries.

TASK1: send invoice to customer via "request e-signture" function. On WIN11, I can complete the signing of the document and all the return mail functions work.  I get a copy, customer gets a copy, all happy.

TASK2: Same situation but I opens the email with the Outlook app on my iPhone 11, version 18.7.1. The email has the normal "review and sign" blue button, I click on said button. It proceeds to open the default web browser and you have to click "continue." It then states "to finish signing, you'll need to go to a computer with windows or macOS, download the agreement, open it in Adobe Acrobat or Reader, and provide a digital signature."  (see attached pic from my IOS device)

So how can I get this streamlined with adobe so my customers can quickly sign the document on thier mobile devices?? I do not want to pay more money for Docu-sign....

What say you?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.

Would you mind sharing the workflow/steps you did to create this PDF form? Have you created this form via Adobe Acrobat desktop application or any other third party application?

If its a XFA Dynamic PDF form, Acrobat mobile application won't be able to open it, such PDF forms can only be opened via Acrobat desktop application on Windows or Mac

Hope this information will help.

Thanks for replying. I created an excel spreadsheet for the base form as I wanted to do calculations and then created the pdf with the desktop app. So if what you said is true, then it wont work.

Is there another workflow that would allow it to work? If so, please share. Attached is the base .xlxs and the first pdf that I created.

Any assistance that would allow a mobile device to respond properly to a "request e-signatures" would be awesome. Must be able to open, sign and the submit for routing after signature!

Much appreciated
