Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. Also try requesting signatures via Adobe Document cloud here https://adobe.ly/3LJShXe and check.

The “unsupported file type” message usually appears if the file you’re trying to send for signature isn’t in a supported format. Adobe Acrobat Sign supports PDF files, so please make sure your document is saved as a PDF before uploading.

If it’s already a PDF, try the following:

  • Open the file in Acrobat and choose File > Save as PDF (this can help reformat the file if it was converted from another format).

  • Ensure the file isn’t encrypted, password-protected, or contains dynamic XFA forms.

  • Check that the file size doesn’t exceed the upload limit (usually 10 MB for Sign).

Once done, try sending it again and see if that works.

Let us know how it goes.

~Amal
