Request e-signatures button doing nothing..

We've created a form that has the e-signature field, and a couple of other fields for the signer to fill. The PDF is now saved and ready. But when we click on the "Prepare a Form" -> "Request e-signature", clicking the button does nothing. What do we need to do to trigger signatures? Latest Acrobat: 2023.008.20555.
