Required property selection is not working

I have clicked radio dials to be required for fillable forms.  When I test the form, no error is afforded for when I skip over a question.  The only thing I wonder about is my selection of saving as other which enables forms fill in and save in Adobe Acrobat Reader.  Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

The required property is only validated when the form is submitted, not when you fill it in, not with you save it, not when you print it, etc.
