Hi there,

I have 2 pdf documents that I want to combine using adobe Acrobat Pro. Both documents have hyperlinks - one was made using indesign, one with word.

However, after they are combined/merged, the hyperlinks for the first document is gone - I no longer be able to click the reference pages (fx, from Table of Contents to certain page in the document).

Is there a solution for this? Thank you!

It depends how they were created, and how you are merging the files. For example, if the links point to a page number (as opposed to a page object) there's nothing much that can be done to fix them, short of doing it outside of Acrobat using a complex, custom-made tool.

If you could share the files with us that would be helpful.
