Most of my document is in portrait orientation with the exception of a few pages that have to be in landscape. On those 4 pages I need to rotate the page numbers 90 degrees in order for the format to match when printed and bound. However, the page number text box disappears when rotated manually and the rotation button in the tool pane is grayed out. Anyone know how to fix this?

I don't want to rotate the page. Just the text box for the page numbers.
However, when I do that, the text box disappears.

Hi matthewg59765186
When editing text , try to hover mouse over the box's handles and check if you are getting the option to rotate text.

How did you rotate the text box?

I wen tinto Tolls> Edit PDF and then I selected the text box using the cursor to rotate it 90 degrees. The moment I released the cursor the text box completely disappeared and had to Ctrl+Z. The rotation option in the editing pane was unavailable to use.

I know this is late coming but if you rotate the page as stated and then enter the text and rotate the page back to its original position the entered text will also rotate thus remaining in the desired position.
