Rotation

New Here ,
Dec 07, 2018 Dec 07, 2018

I have taken photos on my iphone and copied to desktop. Once there, I combined into one pdf. I successfully rotated them counter-clockwise to portrait. However, the save button doesn't activate so I'm unable to maintain the rotation. I'm paying for acrobat pro. Shouldn't being able to save an edit be an option?

Hi Theron B,

When you right click a page and choose Rotate, that also rotates the view, not the page. Rotating the view does not trigger a save. If you do something else and can save it, the view rotation is lost.

You can rotate one or more pages in Organize pages or in the Pages panel. This is sticky and will trigger a save.

If this doesn’t help, please say exactly how you are doing the rotate so we can tell you if it is for view or for pages.

Hi Theronb,

As you need to rotate the pages of the PDF, please use the organize pages tool in the Adobe Acrobat DC.

It seems that you are using the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and rotate the PDF using the Rotate view under the View menu.

You may refer to the steps provided here Add and organize pages in a PDF |

Hope that helps.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Regards,

Meenakshi
