After installing Acrobat DC on end users computer, which previously just had reader, when viewing a pdf attachment in SAP and clicking on print from the adobe toolbar the SAP GUI crashes with the error message "A problem caused the progtram to stop working correctly". This only happens when trying to print a pdf from the viewer using adobe. The machine has version 22.001.20085 which looks to be the latest patch, and also SAP GUI 7.70 Patch 4.
Has anyone else seen this with the latest version of adobe?
Thanks,
Dale.

Hello Dale,
we share this problem and have created an OSS incident.
225522 / 2022 SAP Gui stürzt beim zweiten Druckvorgang mit Adobe Acrobat DC ab. (in german)
Please see the reproduction in the attachment.
The good news is this error can be avoided by enabling the protection mode in adobe settings. See note 2400733 - Adobe Reader and Internet Explorer settings.
I hope SAP will contact Adobe to solve this problem.
Best regards
Friedrich

Hi everyone,
we were facing the same issue as the one described by @dalea72953627 once we installed the versions of SAP GUI and Acrobat DC. Have you tried the new Acrobat DC version released yesterday (22.001.20142)
?

I have applied the fix and I am not amused:
The problem is not fixed and to make things worse the workaround by enabling the protected mode is rolled back by the installation.

We tried too with a restricted group of user and at the moment it seems working perfectly.
The issue seems to be solved.
