Last week approx 05/07/24 Save as pdf in MS Word started making blurred .pdf's

There was a recent update to Adobe over that weekend (which may be coincidental) But before this I could create a document in Word File > Save as > name file and change it to .pdf and it would create a crisp image. Now the image is blurry.

I can still get a crisper image if I print as pdf or if I  Save as a Adobe PDF from the file menu. It just no longer produces a clear image when I do a Save as.

I have checked that I am using all of the optimized settings and nothing is being compressed. Any thoughts?

The command you're describing uses MS technology to save the file as a PDF, not Adobe's. Use the Acrobat ribbon or the Adobe PDF Printer to use Adobe's software. For issues with the built-in conversion to PDF in Word try asking in a Microsoft forum.
