Save as PDF is not working in Excel

New Here ,
Mar 30, 2023 Mar 30, 2023
  • Windows 10 - 22H2
  • Excel is on current version (Office 365 Enterprise)
  • Adobe Pro DC has been updated, repaired, uninstalled/re-installed.
  • Computer has been restarted several times while performing udpates and repairs.

I have a user at work that is selecting a portion of the spreadsheet and then trying to save as PDF in excel.  She will then select selection and fit to page and will be prompted to save/name file.  Once I click save on file after naming it will pop up the conversion bar then flashes back to excel file and never opens in PDF or saves the file as PDF. This also happens when trying to save the whole file as PDF.  I have disabled the plug-in in Excel, enabled and restarted Excel with no luck.  After all the troubleshooting, I was able to get it to work once, but as soon as I try to do it again it goes back to doing the same thing.  As I mentioned above, I have updated, repaired and uninstalled/re-installed Adobe.  Windows is up to date as well as Excel.  I assume when I uninstall/re-install or repair Adobe that it will install the newest version of Adobe Office plug-in.  Correct?  In my search online, I did see something concern a registry fix, but not able to find again.  I am wondering if you can provide some other solutions other than what I mentioned above to see if I can get this working.  I appreciate any help I can get.

PS - There are not any errors that pop up.  I also notice that microsoft to pdf and save as pdf in print window doesn't work as well.  She does have a printer in error status, but I shouldn't have to set a default printer for a simple file conversion.
