I work with the IT department and we have several users that have saved headers and footers that they created that are now gone. I have read several posts on the Community page but none of them are what our problem is. This statred when Adobe updated the last time. Our users need that data back. We have rebuilt their profiles and have completed the general troubleshooting to try and resolve this issue. But nothing that has been posted works. I have also posted and asked for help from Adobe and have gotten no where. This issue needs to be addressed.

Hi @Louis Morrical,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat and the delayed response.

Would you mind sharing the below pieces of information for better investigation and understanding:

1. The version of Acrobat you are using;

2. The screen recording of the workflow you are following;

3. A sample file for us to try and reproduce the issue at our end.

We also suggest you update the application to the latest version.

Look forward to hearing from you.

-Souvik.

The version we use is Version: 22.3.20258.0

There is already a screen shot in this feed showing the header and footers that are not showing up.

We are a Government office and not able to share a document that has this issue. Sorry. But this issue did start when Adobe updated the last time. I just need to find out how to get the software to direct itself to where the file is stored with the headers and footers. I have renamed it let it reproduce the file and copied and pasted the files back into the new folder and it did not correct the issue. So now our users have to remake each header and footer for that day then when the leave for the day and log out when they come back the next day the files do not show up. But if you go to where they are actualy stored on the C drive they are there but the softwared does not pick them up.

Hi @Louis Morrical,

Thanks for the input.

Have you tried working with the latest version of the application(2022.003.20282)?

We tried reproducing the issue at our end but were unable to do so. Let us know if you experience the same with the lates application version.

Look forward to hearing from you.

-Souvik.
