Hello all,
I am creating a template using InDesign and the Prepare a form tool in Acrobat. The issue I'm coming across is that I can only get a final version of the PDF (saving the content inside the form entries and creating the final visual) whenever I use Print. However, this gets rid of all of the hyperlinks that I would still want to be accessible.
Is there a way to go about this that shows the final product without removing my hyperlinks from the interactive PDF?

Why doesn't you use Save in Adobe Acrobat?

Whenever I've just saved normalled in Adobe Acrobat, it keeps those form fields visible and active. Whereas the print option shows what the actual mockup with the input content would look like.

Never, never, never use print to PDF from InDesign, use Export to PDF : Interactive PDF (File menu).

Hi,
Sorry, to clarify I was using the print within Acrobat after filling the forms. From InDesign, I did export to interactive PDF to get to that point.
It's how I save after to solidify the content within the form areas that has me confused.
Thanks!

Doing so flattens the file, and will remove all links from it, as well as all form fields, comments, etc.
Generally speaking, it's not recommended. There are other, better ways of flattening a file.

Is there a way to flatten the file that removes the form fields but keeps the links?

Yes, using this code:
this.flattenPages({nNonPrint: 1});
