Not sure I understand your question about "specifying a watermark."   Yes, I have created a watermark for a docment, if that's what you mean.  I want to use the same watermark for several other documents and don't want to re-create it again and again.  But I can't save it for reuse because my "Save Settings" button is greyed out.

HELP!!

Okay here is the solution:

1. follow the steps here to convert the file to PDF directly through Adobe Acrobat DC https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/using/creating-simple-pdfs-acrobat.html#:~:text=On%20the%20Acroba...

2. The converted file made by Adobe Acrobat DC will enable you to save watermark settings to be applied to other documents.

Tried the Create PDF tip & saved the file.  Still can't access the Save Settings function in the watermark menu.

How do I do that? Typing in the Saved Settings box does nothing. I can only choose [None specified] or any other file I might have saved. But since it's not letting me save anything, there are no files for it to find. . .

HOW? Typing in that field is not functional.  All I can do is choose from the available drop-downs.

I'm sorry, but it seems like maybe you are not paying attention.

That. Does. Not. Work.
Save Settings is DISABLED.  It is not possible to select it. See the screenshot I posted above.
I cannot type anything in the only box that is active.
The only thing I can do is select from the drop-down menu. Period.
It does not matter how many times you tell me in slightly different ways to type something in that box, It Is Not Possible.

Maybe there is some way in the Preferences where I can enable this?  Or somehow change these settings so they can be edited?
