scan and save with ocr text in a preselected area

I need to scan multiples contract, and I need to save each file with the contract number that is always in the same position.

I remember that with HP I had something that did it, is it possible with acrobat pro? thanks.

If the text is indeed always in the same location (more or less), and is correctly identified by the OCR process, then yes, it can be done using a custom-made script, but it's a simple task if you don't have any experience with Acrobat JavaScript.
